Another shot of Bayou St. John
While walking through Mid-City on my way back from the fairgrounds, I noticed a building almost entirely covered in black-and-white portraits, sidewalk to roof. After a little digging, it turns out the project was conceived by New Orleans photographer Frank Relle as a tribute to Team Gleason. According to his website, the idea behind the installation is to “put on your best face and ‘get busy living.’”
Relle’s night photography has had a huge influence on my own, but these portraits are absolutely stunning.
